Couples and large parties enjoy unobstructed service and ambiance. The tone of the restaurant is rich warm colors of the Mediterranean woven into the four dining rooms, uniquely separate but locked hand in hand to each other. Owner and Chef Lisa Dahl designed the restaurant with old world doors, lighting, windows for peek-a-boo openings, iron work, 4 fireplaces, 2 fountains and 2 magnificent patios. The large L-shaped bar area is vibrant, subtly lite and serving Wine Spectator list wines and fine cocktails while the sounds of the chef’s on the line ebb and flow in the background.
When you dine at Cucina Rustica the world is a million miles away – the service extraordinary and dishes are award winning. The menu is slanted toward it’s Italian roots of Award Winning sister restaurant Dahl & Di Luca. However a healthy Mediterranean theme allows versatility for creativity and remarkable flavors that never fight. Lisa insists on the best ingredients and strives for organic and natural produce, fresh meats and seafood and homemade pasta.

Lisa is a Restaurateur, Chef, Author and Passionista. Lisa is having “A Romance with Food”. You will see her in Cucina Rustica and Dahl & Di Luca almost every evening.
Her Romance with Food stems from the very essence of providing friends, family and complete strangers an unforgettable experience. Those experiences evolve from a well established foundation of two award winning restaurants, a recently published cookbook – The Elixir of Life Cookbook. The book was honored with the 2011 Gold Medal IPPY Award for Cookbook of the Year!
As a Passionista, Lisa strives to fulfill her desires and feed her adventuresome spirit. Her home base of Sedona, Arizona is nurturing and provides a beautiful backdrop to her expanding inspirations. The one of a kind locale is where the sharing of her pursuits begins.
